A good concert review gives an idea about a concert that had taken place. To write a concert review it is important that some basic information be collected beforehand. Who would perform? What is the event? Where is the event being held and why is the event being held?

It is important that all the aspects pertaining to the concert be mentioned in the review. The main focus of the article should be on music. Besides this, the varied aspects of the concerts should also be mentioned in the review. The concert review must contain the details of the works that were performed and whether those have been effective or not.

The writer should have a thorough knowledge about music and employ the vocabulary and concepts that have been learnt in the music classes. The review can be written in first person narrative and the events in the concert can be mentioned in the past tense. It is however good to use the present tense while writing about a musical composition. The comparisons between musical pieces or performers should be avoided in the review. The concert review should give the personal opinion of the writer but it should be objective and balanced. An honest review is appreciated and shows the sincerity of the writer

Rapper Lil’ Kim has left Atlantic Records and intends to release her upcoming as-yet-untitled album independently.
On DJ Kay Slay’s Sirius Satellite Radio show “Streetsweeper Radio” last week. Kim said that she harbors no ill feelings toward Atlantic. She said she was afraid to release her music independently several years ago but now she feels more comfortable in her knowledge of the music business. Lil Kim’s upcoming album (originally slated for February) is  tentatively set for April or May 2008.
Kim’s Atlantic swan song, 2005’s “The Naked Truth,” has sold 394,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Plus, the singer is gonna perform her shows very soon.

Recently  Josh Duhamel, an energized Fergie took to the stage earlier today in New Zealand. The Black Eyed Pea singer, forgot to zip up her fly before starting the show!  She was enjoying her spot as the opening act for Sting and the Police at Westpac Stadium. Now that the Wellington gig is over. The group is headed off to perform in Auckland at the Western Springs Stadium on January 19th. Fergie’s personal life is concerned and herfiance Josh Duhamel  told People magazine that he and his bride-to-be are in the preliminary stages of planning a wedding.  The singer feels very happy and glad about her future wedding. And she tries to combine work and her private life.

 After the rumour mill was set on fire just before Christmas, regarding the beautiful Bajan’s relationship with Black Hawk Down actor Josh Hartnett  all eyes are now on the Umbrella star’s neck.
Rihanna has added to her collection of tattoos (including the Sanskrit prayer on her stomach and other discrete inkings). Appearing in LA’s Body Electric tattoo parlour it’s said that Rihanna had stars added to her neck. The shop has refused to comment but a source told press. She wasn’t there that long, and this wasn’t a huge work of art. Rihanna is getting ready to perform her shows. She will give her concerts in February. They will take place in Atlantis, Bahamas; Los Angeles, London, Dublin, Belfast, Tallin (Estonia).

Indigo Girls are a folk rock duo that consists of Amy Ray and Emily Saliers. Indigo Girls released a seven-inch single called “Crazy Game” in 1985. The band’s second album named Nomads Indians Saints, became gold in 1991. In 2002, the band released Become You, which is a full album of new compositions that gained much critical acclaim. If you are fond of country music you have a chance to see Indigo Girls’ shows in January and February. Tickets are available.

Rumors say that Michael Jackson has turned black again. Jackson, is currently in Ireland to record new music albums. As is well known, over the past several decades, Jackson had managed to change his complexion from a solid, honest black into almost lily white. Now, it has been reported that his skin is now ‘blacker than the inside of a cow at midnight’.
