Aimee Mann all set to release her seventh album
Aimee Mann is a pumped up woman as she has just finished recording her seventh album “@#%&! Smilers” and the differently named album is all set for a release on June 3rd this year. Aimee said that the album will be coming out under the label of her own company, Super Ego Records. The album is produced by her close friend and associate Paul Bryan, who was responsible for bringing out her last album in 2006 “One More Drifter in the Snow”. Aimee Mann says that her fans will be hearing a totally different sound in this album.
Aimee says that the album has a lot of synthesizer sounds added to it and will sound similar to the car sounds a little bit. She says that she has attempted to make every song a different one by treating each song differently and it is up to her fans to listen to the songs and tell her how different it is. Mann also revealed that the entire album does not have an electric guitar sound in it and is an all keyboard situation album, which she feels will linger for long in the minds of her fans. Mann said that she will be coming up with a concert tour in a few weeks time to promote her new album.
