Van Halen tour is Re-scheduled

The tour dates of Eddie Van Halen are re-scheduled, as he is undergoing some medical examination early this month. Van Halen, who is a cancer victim and a prey to the substance abuse, is asked to undergo a series of important medical tests inorder to determine the exact problem and to decide on the type of medication and treatment to be given to him. The show announced on March 3rd got postponed to April 24th. The event at Cincinnati on March 5th is re-scheduled for 22nd of April. The March 7th show at Raleigh is due on April 13th and so on. Same tickets will be valid for the new dates according to the statement of the management.

Van Halen did a tour last year with the lead singer David Lee Roth after a gap of 20 years. The tour featured Wolfgang, the teenaged son of Eddie Van Halen and the shows were sold out in most shows in North America. Van Halen has agreed to perform in the “Tiger Jam”, an event by Tiger Woods in Las Vegas. This year’s summer tour has shows till April 25th; the last one is at Sacramento in Calif. The tour will start on March 11th according to the new schedule.

Kylie is planning to dispose her island hideaway

The Australian pop diva, Kylie Minogue, is planning to sell her 100ha real estate on an isolated French island in Australia which she and her family had transformed into a luxurious French style island hideaway. It is believed that this hideaway was the place in which Kylie and her boyfriend Olivier Martinez spent some days after her breast cancer treatment. The property has been listed for sale through agent Hocking Stuart and it is priced somewhere between $1.8 and $2 million. The French property named Beauciel, wqas bought by Kylie for about 400,000 some three years ago and the family spent more than $1 million in converting it into a luxurious retreat.
The natives of the island are surprised by the decision of the Minogues to sell their property and said that they would miss the interactions they have with the Kylie family. The luxurious French style hideaway has four bedrooms, a big country style kitchen and two bathrooms. The Minogue family has an organic vegetable and fruit garden in their luxury retreat and it is a home for different rare varieties of birds and also boasts of a large population of Koala bears. The landscaping garden surrounding the house is done by gardener Stephen May and it is one of the best sites in the island.
