Japanese Cops
I wanted to talk about a relatively unknown indie group that I just heard about. The Tokyo Police Club is a small band, with just four members. It is an interesting band, and they seem to be kind of nerdy. There are many bands that are good like this, and they have some fun songs, from what I’ve listened to. They play mainly at festivals, although there are some smaller venues where they play full concerts. Sometimes, like last fall, they split a bill with Weezer, a similar indie band that attracts similar fans all the time. They are, of course, not the headliners in those concerts.
