When we look at the world around us, you might start thinking about the Great Depression. People are out of work and businesses are having trouble keeping up. In this way, the Musicals of 1931 show is quite fitting to the world we live in. The music sung by Rudy Vallee and the big bands of that era was designed the first time as a way to make people feel rich in a world in which they were not. This series of concerts has rocked it out in New York for the last little while, as a series of revues of the music from different years.
