Gwen Stefani, the very popular singer and song writer, who shot to fame with her solo hit album “Love, Angel, Music, Baby” in 2004 is expecting her second child and is reported to be 13 weeks pregnant. There have been rumors of her pregnancy doing rounds in all the leading magazines, newspapers as well as the internet and as Stefani’s father in law has confirmed the same, the rumor is no more a rumor. Douglas Rossdale, the father of the popular rock star Gavin Rossdale, said that his family is eagerly waiting for their second grandchild.

Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale married in 2002 and have a one and a half year old child named Kingston. Gwen Stefani attained stardom after she sang for the Rock band No Doubt in the 80’s and 90’s. There have been reports in the media that Gwen always used to say that she wanted another child. After her successful solo album hit in 2004, Gwen Stefani released another solo album “Sweet Effort” and devotes a lot of time to do charity work when she is not with her family. Stefani has described he son Kingston as a super entertainer and there will be loads of fun for her and her family once she gives birth to her second child.

It has been reported that famous singer and Gwen Stefani age 38 and husband Gavin Rossdale age 40, are joyfully awaiting the arrival of their second child. Stefani was said to have taken a pregnancy test at Cedars-Sinai Medical center in the later part of January to confirm the pregnancy. She is currently in her third or fourth month of pregnancy. No report on whether this baby will be a boy or girl. Although, no formal statement has been made as to whether the blessed news is true, father-in-law, Douglas Rossdale has made it clear the entire family is happy about the baby. Gwen and Gavin have been married since 2002 and already have son Kingston who will soon be two years old. Son Kingston was born in May of 2006 and it is reported that the new arrival is due around July of 2008. It seems to come as no big surprise to the public that Stephani is expecting again. She made it no secret that she would love to have a baby brother or sister for son Kingston and that she finds pregnancy very agreeable. Gwen is expected to carry on her musical career during the pregnancy as she did previously with her first child.
