Miley Cyrus is in the middle of a tour right now, bringing her Disney Channel character, Hannah Montana, to theaters across the country.  Cyrus has become a preteen phenomenon in the last year or two, with her show portraying a character with a combination of normal life and rockstar life.  Mothers, apparently, also really like Hannah Montana, because they see it as being a very wholesome show, but not boring.  At one of these concerts, expect to see thousands of 13-year-old girls very excited to see their favorite TV character singing some of her big hits of this year.  Check out the tour dates here.

Celine Dion and Hannah Montana have announced that their premium concerts will be transmitted in movie theaters. This is very glorious news for people who love these divas but aren’t ready to overpay for incredibly expensive tickets for their permanently sold-out concerts. Some people are ready to do the craziest things just to make their kids happy. 35-year old Jody Powell hung on to a twelve-foot statue of “Hannah Montana” for six days to win tickets to a sold-out concert by Miley Cyrus. The show will be held next week in Tampa. Now Jody Powell has 4 tickets to the show and a photo of his fiancée with her 7-year-old daughter, also named Hannah. Jody was declared the winner after the other remaining contestant, Lara Padgett, became distracted and let go.

 Friday morning, some “Hannah Montana” ticket money will go to the Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital at St. Vincent. “The Bob and Tom Show” on radio station WFBQ-FM (94.7) is going to auction 4 tickets to the Hannah Montana show, 4 backstage passes, an autographed Christmas ornament signed by Miley Cyrus.
